I agree the seller of the 41 5c is looking for moon money, but comparing the POP reports of those two coins is not really useful. The reason the POP of the 44 5c is so low is because it is such a common coin that nobody bothers to slab it. I can buy BU rolls of that year in Manila for $1 a coin. This is not the case however for the 41 5c, which is truly a tough coin in MS.
The 1941-M 5 centavo is genuinely a difficult date. But the money that guy was asking for was moon money. But then, so was the $10 the other guy was asking for the 1945-S 5 centavo in "gem" Fine condition.

Well, these don't come up in UNC very often, but not sure I'd pay $4k for it.
The same date in AU-58 sold a few months ago on ebay for $17, if that's any indication.

I checked the pop reports and there are more of these in unc/gem than the 1944 5 Centavos graded by PCGS. BTW, I am glad you like the sigline.
