Photographing the impossible coin...

These non cameo proof coins are a pain. I worked on this one this weekend and was finally able to get this pic, the best I can do. I had to use natural daylight. All other light sources caused this sort of washed out chrome look.
I am not totally unhappy with this pic, as I am just taking the photo's for my website, and perfection is not the real goal (for instance, the pic is not in perfect focus, I know)
But...
How do the picture guys do their high reflection coins???

The way I go after them is with very diffuse light. Softer the better.

I'll try that. I went with bright daylight, which may have been the wrong way to go.
