1967 Half Penny Question

I bought a bulk lot of half pennies a while back and was going through them when I noticed one was different than the others. All are bronze except for the 1967 which appears to be nickel or nickel plated. I looked in Krause and it says these coins should be bronze. Am I missing something here or could this be one of those coins that a private entity plated? I'll post pics later.

These coppers along with many others from the George VI to Elizabeth II era have been extensively plated in many different types of metals - usually silver but many times of other types, even gold. What I did with two of the pennies that I had was to scratch their edges not near the rim and see if there was copper color underneath. You can also weigh these coins if you have a scale that goes down to the 0.1 gm. measure (will check this but think it is something like 5.4 g). If pure nickel as a few are, there is weak magnetism.

Confirmed at 5.7 gm according to the Tony Clayton site...
