Card Collector Software

I was wondering if anyone here uses the card collector software. I was tryiong to get some feedback and see how people liek it/dislike it. I was thinking about getting it, I primarly collect vintage cards. I was curouis if they have historical values on how specifc cards/sets increased or decreased in value over time. Any feedback would be appreciated...

  • I've been using it for around 10 years and it works great for me. It doesn't track the value history of a card. The updates are kinda high but if you only collect vintage you probably wouldn't ever need to update. But if you ever decide to collect newer releases you can easily add a new set and add pricing without updating. I usually buy a online Becket price guide ever 1-2 years and simply update the pricing manually. But I'm a set builder so this is pretty easy for me to do which would do for a player collector also. Now if you were one that might buy alot of different releases an update may be easier. Check out their website for further details if you haven't all ready: The Card Collector

This came up a few months ago. I was able to burn a few copies of Card Collector 5.0 or 6.0 (from the mid 90's) and sent it out to people. I believe I have one copy left if anyone is interested.
  • The Card Collector Software is solid and one of the better offline applications available for what you want to do. However, as far as I know, there are no offline solutions that provide sales results for your collection. There are several online sites that do this, ours included. You are welcome to try out our collection software, it is free of charge. We do update pricing information for paid subscribers.
