1884 VAM id help please

I'm a jefferson guy but I picked up this in a trade and the fellow said it was a VAM because of the dot by the M... I tried to find some info and I guess there are a couple varieties with different size dots.. can someone give me a hand with the ID and some sort of value from these pics...

That is the VAM 3 "large dot" (as opposed to the VAM 4 "small dot".). It's a better (though not rare) VAM that is desireable in higher Mint State grades.
