1925 Peace...VAM attribution

I was getting ready to list this 1925 peace and when I took a closer look at the reverse the eagle's left wing jumped out at me...

Anyone else? If it is just a die clash would there be any added value? I'm not very familiar with peace dollar varieties/pricing.

  • I think that you still have to flip the obverse photo in order to have the correct overlay for the die clash.

In your photo there would be no die clash coming from the eagle's shoulder, which happened from clashing dies.

I'm no expert but that's a nice 1925 DJC! I think my next library addition will be the VAM book for sure!

My 1925 appears to have a diecrack thru the Eagles head, or at least that's what it looks like to me.
