Good Book on Canadian Coins?

Hello,

I've got quite a few Canadian coins and would like to begin getting more. The first thing I discovered is I have overpaid for everything. Then I realized I cannot accurately grade anything.

What sort of basic books on Canadian coins would the forum recommend? I'd like an education before I buy more coins.

I also need to know where I can buy the books.

Thank you

Charlton's Standard Catalogue of Canadian Coins is the best Yearly catalogue. The 2009 edition will be out in a couple of months.

Try Amazon.com or eBay to get a copy. Your local library may also have one.
