A toned Roosevelt for your review

NGC MS67

I used to be somebody, now I'm just a coin collector.
Recipient of the coveted "You Suck" award, April 2009 for cherrypicking a 1833 CBHD LM-5, and April 2022 for a 1835 LM-12, and again in Aug 2012 for picking off a 1952 FS-902.

<< <i>I see to big hits on the obverse. Nice color though. Are you happy with the coin as a 67?
Ken >>
Since I got the whole SMS set for $6 and had a free grading certificate, yeah, I'm pleased. The photograph makes that hit look 100 times worse than it is in hand.

<< <i>Looks nice and I agree that in hand and even with a 5X loop those hits will be extremely small......too many folks try to micrograde off of large images. That's great if you are trying to send in the cream of the crop to a grading service because you will get back some nice surprises but for toned coins.....it's not the most important factor. >>
I do not want to have a NGC versus PCGS deal here but from my submission results for roosevelts the two hits would more than likely get a 66 grade at PCGS. The color would probably have nothing to do with the grade on this coin. Then again I have never submitted a roosevelt that was minted after 1962.
Happiness is what counts.

I knew it would happen.
Is the reverse as nicely toned?
What about the rest of the set?

John

Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!

Congrats on the grade and the coin.
