Need some help with a cash coin...again.

I'm getting a little better at these things, but this one has me stumped. It's about 25mm in diameter...Korea maybe?

  • It is definitely Chinese. Possibly Northern Sung Dynasty (960-1127ad)

The closest I could find was "Chih Ho Yuan" Check out this page and scroll down to the Northern Sung. Then the third row from the left, sixth coin down.

It's not exact (the top symbol is off) but as close as I could find with a quick eyeball search.
  • A poor imitation of a Xuan He yuan bao, under emperor Hui Zong 1101-1125. China, Northern Song.

The lumpy surface of the fields is a feature of modern copies. I don't think this was intended to be fool anyone. It may well be a piece manufactured for fortune telling.
