"Free Car Door Magnets"

The cheap place where I buy my business cards online just sent me an e-mail with this subject. If any of you coin dealers want a car door magnet to put on your car and park in front of your house let me know and I'll forward you the e-mail. image

They think it's a good idea to advertise to the world that we are coin collectors? I barely discuss it with my family.

In some cities, a magnetic car door (business) sign allows you to park in yellow zones, so you could park closer, schlep less.
...and if you're worried about advertising to the world, turn it around:

In addition to a target I think it would say, "Bad guys follow me home for fun a profit."

Do they really have to be coin ads only, are they blank?? i think i can come up with some creative stuff to put on the side image

You actually might be able to keep a few people away if you advertised your business on the car magnets as "lightly used cesspool cleaning equipment". Not too many perps breaking in to your trunk for that, I'd think.

I actually am looking for a cheap place to do some car magnets for my non-coin-related field work this summer. I'm doing bird counts in residential developments, so anything I can do that makes me look more like a bird surveyor and less like a peeping tom is a good thing.

You can PM me the info if you'd like.

    Thanks,
    Michael

be careful with that - lots of places specify that any business signage on a vehicle must be "permanently affixed" to be eligible to park in commercial zones.

Hmmm, even paint is not "permanently affixed".

How about a car door magnet that reads, "Guns & Ammo Dealer -- Free Sharp Shooter Training"?

If you put that on your car and carry a gun...could that be construed as "baiting"????...image
