Player/Team Collector Repository

If I can interrupt Alan's thread for a moment, I would like to propose something that keeps a record (kind of like the get-to-know-you thread) of who is a team or player collector. I know some have it in their sig line, but whenever I send something, I like to toss in a few extra things if I know something about the person for the heck of it. If I could look somewhere and see that, say, Geordie is woefully misguided in his affinity for the Dodgers, I would know where to dump some things I would never keep around the house (just as an example). Obviously, this kind of applies to modern stuff because I know some might say early 50's Yankees.

Hello, my name is Kurt and I am starting to collect Matt Cain cards and those of my poor, pathetic Giants.

    that's me!

    edited to add:

That's a great idea. I've unfortunately been on the road for much of the last 6 months and haven't had the majority of my collection at hand. I've been saving up a lot of stuff for several people, but it will require getting back to my collection first. I have several contest prizes to give away too, all 1000 miles east though.

    Hey Gio,

I think it's past your bedtime. Kurt is starting a thread for the adults here.

    Nighty night.

    Kurt - great idea!

  • You guys already know, but Braves, Rays, and Dodgers.

More specifically I focus on Chipper Jones and Carl Crawford as far as modern goes.
