My wait wasn't as bad the 50's popped.

Guys the 4 Express cards have popped as have the 16 regular service cards.

In the Express service the grades were as expected I was hoping for all 6's

I got:

1954 B Mantle 8OC I figured the qualifier is better here as it tells a prospective buyer that the card has 8 attributes. The OC can be seen.

1954 T Aaron............6 Just as I figured, I was thinking 6.5 but you all know how that is.............I'm gonna keep this and pay for it out of the fee's Ive put up and whatever my cut is when we sell.

1954 T Banks............7 I pregraded it as a 6 or a 6.6 so this one is a bonus.

1953 T J Robinson.........6 I pregraded it as a 6 and it is a true to grade ex /mnt example. Nice centering and some honest corner wear.

In the regular service of 16 cards i got 2 .5's

Most notably I got my 55 Spahn card into a 7 holder! My 55 topps HOF set is now complete!

I pregraded most of these cards as 6's and 5's and that is basically what they got.

2 cards were hit with the OC qualifier a 54 B campy at 8OC and a 1954 Robinson at 7OC

A 53 paige with a wrinkle got the 4 that i expected.

All in all i agree with the grades, no problem here.

    You were pretty much Spot on with what you thought you had, although the Banks getting a better grade is a pleasant suprise. Looks like you guys did well.

    Congrats on your grades , it's nice to get that bonus .5 bump in there as well .

    Congrats on the completion of your 55 HOF set as well , you seem very excited about that .

    What about the Kaline?
    So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

    Very nice grades Steve, you and your friend should do very well when all is said and done. He was very lucky to have you orchestrate the grading aspect of this venture because had he walked into a card show or card store to sell these he would have left thousands on the table.

    Is this the same Spahn that came out of a GAI holder and had twice previously been rejected by PSA as trimmed?

    Sorry if I missed this elsewhere.
