There are presently two reference books on the Capped Bust Quarters in the works, one of which will likely go to the printers this summer. The other has more work to do before it will be ready. Be patient and you will be rewarded. It is indeed unfortunate that the respective authors could not agree to work together on this project, but interested collectors will go from a dearth of information to a goldmine of information in a short period of time.

Also, Rory Rea is currently working on a photographic record of condition census examples of the Bust Quarters, also scheduled for publication in the not too distant future.

like he said, current books are'nt current enough, wait for these updated books to come out soon. i've used my browning book to death, but it's filled out-of-date info & has alot of errors.

I have an old browning CBQ book. There are more mistakes in it than I can shake a stick at.

It's an interesting reference, but frought with errors.

I am very much looking forward to the new books. However, please tell Rory to quit imprinting gigantic ugly watermarks across the center of his pics ... it is annoying and unnecessary.

Looking forward to the books; collecting quarters 1805-1828 by die variety and die state.

Rory, please quit imprinting gigantic ugly watermarks across the center of your pics ... [many think that] it is annoying and unnecessary
