Ebay-how does it work when you sell?

I would appreciate knowing what Ebay charges for selling an item. If I sold a $50 coin what would be the approx. listing charges and fees if it sold? If the item is less expensive or more expensive does this change? If I opt to accept payment for my item thru pay pal accepting credit card do I pay a monthly charge for this? I greatly appreciate the help of those in the know. Thanks.
