Wouldn't we all like to find one of those. The vending company we use at work uses golden dollars for change when you use a $5 bill. I alway bring home the 2000 dated coins and check them under my microscope, and I never use those back at work they simply go to the bank for depost.

  • I found a 1963 quarter on my wife's night stand. When I went to congratulate her for her find, she said "Wha?"

I thanked her for her good fortune anyway. image

It was probably the left over change she "borrowed" from you for her Starbuck's this morning image

I found a Wisconsin quarter - immediately looked to see if there was an extra leaf. Nope.

I received a 1951 S (VF) quarter in change at my local CVS Pharmacy last night.
I spotted it immediately and while hiding my excitement told the clerk that I needed to get more quarters if she had enough in the till. She said NP and I gave her 4 paper dollars but none of the 16 quarters were silver.
  • I found a 1939 cent in a roll the other day.
