2007 $1 Jefferson Proof...Slab says: D/S with Slight Rotation......big pics

I posted this a couple months ago before I sent it across the street the first time, it came back graded with no mention of the error, I sent it again and wrote on the form "look at the nose"

Now its back..........still nothing, but I did get a little rotation this time...?

Definately worth more than just advertising it as a Jefferson proof missing facial parts...

I'm not familiar with what a D/S looks like, I'm stumped ! It looks like a broken die to me, but the affected area has frost?

double struck -- All proof coins are double struck. This one must have jumped just enough to give it some doubling. Look at any newer proof silver eagle and you will find steps where the coin was struck multiple times to bring up the design.

Looks more like machine doubling on the letters than a double strike.

I was not looking at the lettering,............. half of the nose is missing.................thats why I submitted it!
