Clue 1.
Mitchell 300 Reel (new ebay purchase, Vintage.. Made in France)
4 oz can of CPVP Cement (Just built a rod tube for my new fly rod the other day)

Clue 2.
14 AA batteries (Stocked up for the spring storms)
Tape Measure (measured my wifes garden this afternoon, and rushed in to check on the obw rolls on that other thread)

Clue 3.
Zippo (its always on my desk)
2 Sporks (left over from lunch, didn't use them.. grabbed silverware out of the kitchen)

The reel is attached to the rod that went into the rod holder you made using the cement.

My guess for Clue 2 (I'm keeping it coin related)

    14AA batteries @ 1.5 volts each = 21 volts

A tape measure can measure width.

    =

    1921 wide reeding Morgan dollar!

    Things that are useless by themselves;

    The reel needs a pole.
The PVC cement needs pipe to glue.
The batteries need someting to run.
The Zippo needs fluid or something to light.
The sporks needs some food to pick up.

    Yeah I know it's a stupid guess.
  • That was fun, Congrats FB!
