Platinum Collector Census

Out of sheer curiosity, who here collects (or accumulates) American Platinum Eagles?
Which denominations and types (proofs, uncs, burnished) do you collect?
I was trying to do them all, but now I've decided on the 1/2 oz. and 1 oz. of all types.
Added: I do have an ulterior motive for asking. In making this tabulation, each participant in this thread might be able to find trading partners and be better able to fill in some of the gaps in his/her collection.

I was collecting the bullion version aslo but since the steep rise in platinum price and the addition of the MS (with the proof reverse) I have curtailed that option.
I wish the mint would consider changing metals.

1/10 oz W Unc (07 only)
1/10 oz Unc (08 only)
I want to get the 97-00 1/10 proofs and the 06 W unc if and when I find them.....
The 1/10 oz 2008 Unc is thinking potential low mintage
Today ICG PR70 = raw proof, because no one wants to buy them in ICG slabs. I can get more $ for my PCGS PR69 sets in the big slab that holds all four coins.
I am glad I bought and am holding them. Though I wish I had the funds to keep buying because the reverse designs have been more attractive every year.
Guess I can sell the two extra 01 sets and one extra 03 set to get either the 04 or 06 proof set that I think are gorgeous.
Yes! Hoarders do turn into collectors.

Here is some food for thought. I am disenchanted with the price increases, too. But on the other hand, I see no groundswell of governmental policy that is particularly geared toward stopping the slide of the dollar and inflation.
That being the case, and knowing how well platinum has served as a hedge against all of that, why would you (or I) stop buying platinum just because the nominal price in dollars has changed? It's done its job. The value is more, not less, now.
It's curious how the mind works when changes occur too quickly.

If the price jumps I will use puplicates to finance the new issues. If platinum goes into orbit I may have to fall back to complete proof & "w" quarter set collecting. I want to stay with the halves too if I can.

<< <i>I collect $25 burnished Platinum Eagles and I also have a few proof $10 and $25s that I bought a few years ago. >>
If I were starting from scratch the changing reverse platinum quarters would be my "ride".
I tried to do all the Proofs, $100, $50 $25 and $10 but it just got to expensive.
I started out with the $10's in all forms and still keep those sets going. I may go back to the other denominations if I win the lottery.
