Digital print vs film autograph fading

Does anyone know if a digital print would fade more or less that an older style photo film print? I'm guessing if I use the Picture Shields UV inserts or UV acrylic that it doen't matter but I was curious. I know if I print something at home the ink is terrible for fading. Biggest concern would be the ink used in the autograph I'm thinking.
