What would you do about excessive shipping charges?

I just received an item on ebay that I paid $12.00 to have shipped to me. It arrived and the seller paid only $2.86 to ship it. Also, the item (it is an autographed baseball) was just placed in a mill-pac with the ball only protected by a plastic bag. Luckily the ball arrived undamaged.

How would you handle this?

Give them a zero on the shipping cost portion of the detailed feedback. You should leave a positive because the deal was completed, but $12 is too much for a baseball.
