Wished they used a better picture......

Have you ever seen a card that you really wish they would have used a better picture for the card......great year, favorite set's,great player.....terrible choice for a picture to use.....

1984 Topps Dan Fouts
great set-great player-not so great picture

So I picked out a different picture to use for the 1984......maybe not the best pic.....but the action pic looks better then the one topps picked to use........here is a example of another possible look they could have went with....

Joe Montana's got a few. He looks like he's about to get sick in his 1986 Topps card... and how about that phone-talking action on his 82 and 87 cards?

A rather goofy looking picture of Jim Zorn, but what's really kinda cool is that the dude on the left is Dave Krieg, two years before his 1984 Topps rookie card!

Didn't Topps send one photographer to one game, and he had to take pictures of everyone in one game?? I recall seeing the same players and teams on each cards over and over. Cubs would have the Dodgers, Falcons and 49ers, for years and years. Kinda lame, but they didn't have any real competition for what 30 years.

I believe that is for the true "alternative" collector in that Chance card!
