Is this significant for card values or anything?
I know A-Rod's "road to 500" cards were popular in themselves, but what about his "regular" cards? Did they jump since he joined the club?
Manny Ramirez is only 10 away from 500, so I'm curious!
Thoughts?

Are there other "events" that trigger card values to go up besides HOF election?
With a few typical years he'll hit 600.
Big Frank says he want's 600 too. I don't know, those 3 or 4 years of injuries really set him back. He may be able to pull it out. If he hits 40 this year, he stick around for another season or two. If he doesn't, I don't know.
As for Frank's cards, I can say there have been more buyers since June 28th of '07 than previous times, but not overwhelmingly so, except for the weeks that directly followed the event.
What event was on June 28th of '07 for Thomas?

Willie Mac hangs out at his restaurant and watches football. I hear that he's happy to sign for guests at his restaurant, if you wait for a commercial break. He wasn't around when my wife took me there for my B-Day a while back though.

I keep hoping I'll see him at one of the Chicago shows but so far, no luck.
