<< <i>I've had this happen before where a seller sandwiched my rookie auto card in between two filler cards and put so much packing tape on it I couldn't get it out without slightly damaging it. To top it off I sent cash in a card holder. I think they were pissed because they didn't get alot for the card. IMO >>
There are people on this thread flaming me for complaining about the cards being "over packaged". Any package that can't be opened without damaging the cards is poor packaging.

if you only get "hammered" for a total of $21 ever on Ebay, then you are doing well. Take the cards you can use and move on. It's not worth the stress, trust me. The vast majority of people on this board are card freaks, especially about condition. Some other collectors are, but many are not. They think nrmt is four fuzzy corners, but no creases on a card from the 70's!
Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!
You are obviously one of those people who is unable to understand the concept of personal responsibility, and think that everything is always someone elses fault.

<< <i>As a seller I wouldn't give you a refund. But maybe that just me. Seems to me the cards reached you safely, the seller fulfilled his obligation. >>
What if I had to use dynamite to open the package? >>
This one made me LOL. It doesn't even make sense. That is like saying, "what if I used a bowl of water to soak the cards out, or what it I had my dog chew the cards out, or what if I used a blow tourch to burn the cards out." Dynamite is probably not the best option to open them with. I may be mistaken but there just has to be a better way to open them then dynamite.

The OP isn't too bright. Too many growth "supplements" in my opinion.

I don't see any flames.
Just folks responding to your public request for opinions.
If we don't want to hear negative views, it is risky to
ask for opinions.
Keeping it real:
Two of the card stacks were opened without any damage.
And, no, you are not "a bad person," just because of this
incident.

Thank you. I was starting to feel like the PSA discussion forum outcast.
