The 2009 (Assuming you're hunting 1901-2000 years) comes out in May, I'll sell you my 2008 cheap in a few months!
Amazon has them $34.65

Edit: Yup, wal-mart is $31.90

Thanks for the offer but I guess I will wait until May. I was wondering about the 1901-2000 as well as the 1800's one. Thanks all.

Does anyone know of a good place to pick up a 1701-1800 Krause on the cheap (meaning less than $50-$60)?

I got the latest one that came out in November at Amazon. It's $47.25.
1701-1800
The 1801-1900 should be the next one with a release date given. Here is what I could find on current versions and release of next versions:
1601-1700 - Current released Dec 2003
Upgrade scheduled for Dec 8, 2008
1701-1800 - Current released Nov 16, 2007
No upgrade announced
1801-1900 - Current released Dec 2006
No upgrade announced
1901-2000 - Current released June 11, 2007
Upgrade scheduled for May 29, 2008
2001-Present - Current released July 5, 2007
Upgrade scheduled for July 3, 2008
Unusual World Coin Companion - Current released Dec 22, 2007
no upgrade announced

Look i the BST - I thought someone had access to cheap recent versions ('07?) for under $15. Maybe that's all you need.

Sadly, the cheap BST volumes were all sold. I was too slow pulling the trigger to get one myself.
