Has anyone used the $20 Diffuser kit for a Dinolite???

I was just looking at the available accs. I was wondering about a snap on polarising attachment, to fight glare. But didn't see one.
(Old man) Look I had a lovely supper, and all I said to my wife was, “That piece of halibut was good enough for Jehovah”.

(Priest) BLASPHEMY he said it again, did you hear him?

  • One of the recommended suppliers in Stephanie's or poorguy's early thread about Dinolites does list a diffuser for these units. I cannot remember which one, but did see it when I was shopping for these.

I was about to order the diffuser, but figured that switching off the onboard light and using a standalone light source would be the best/most flexible route to go.

The Amscope website has a number of independent light sources for sale. I have yet to buy one.

  • Here is a test I did using different types of light with my Dino-Lite.

    Light Experiment

You can turn off the LED Lights using the software that came with the unit.
