A question of forum etiquette.

May I link a BS&T post in my sig. line, or is that considered bad form? Thanks for your input.

Other folks do it as well as linking ebay listings or private websites.

Others to that and their ebay in the sig line, I dont see a problem. Bad etiquette is posts about things for sale in the coin forum or trying to be sly about things for sale in the coin forum.

There has been some debate on this over the years. I say do it discretely.

When I joined last year, I figured it was not proper to promote items for sale on the message boards.

Now, with this posting, I have changed my signature line to let others know about the numismatic literature that I have available.

Hope that it becomes a useful reference for all.

Your post shows a considerate and respectful attitude IMO.

As RYK states - do it discretely.
