eBay Dillemma

I sold THIS and THIS a couple hours ago.

I just got home from Easter DInner with the Fam (Happy Easter to everyone, by the way) and I get a note in my eBay messages that says, "Dear baileypsa10, I did not realize you are not including the nunchuck, the remote alone is no good without it. I would like to withdraw my bid."

Now if this moron actually read my description, he wouldnt have run into this problem.

My question: Neg him? Or just relist and eat the fees? I hate morons like this and I want to neg him, but I know he'll just neg me right back.

And before my two favoite clown on here decide to jump all over me for this, yes, I know I used one photo for multiple auctions (just like 4SC does with their cards) but you've got to be a brain-dead moron to think that this included a nunchuk.

I would just file a mutual withdrawal in the Control Panel.
Tell the "buyer" what to do when he gets the notice; you
will get your FVFs back. No NEGs required.

The listing was NOT misleading. BUT, next time, I would
use a picture of the lone item; just to avoid confusion
among the non-readers.

Cripes, you could NOT have been any clearer about the fact that the auction was only for one controller. Bidders like this suck butt. Given the bidding activity was pretty good and consistent with your other auction, I would follow Storm's advice as well. Mutually agree not to complete the transaction, relist it, and hope for even better results with the auction not ending on Easter. It may be a blessing in disguise for you.

Send the mutual agreement. No need to eat the fees. You could neg him but that seems useless at this point. I would rather get the fees back.

Why not just block bidders who don't have a Paypal address if you are only going to to take Paypal? Just wondering...

On the subject I would not file mutually as you are not mutually agreeing to this he is forcing you to back down from your own auction.

Why not just file for "mutually agreed to cancel" and get your fees refunded? Block the bidder and move on. Leave appropriate feedback based on what you want to do.
