Its a fun set to do. Make sure you take your time with each coin, and fine the one you like the most. If you get one you dont like, it will bother you forever. I am planing on doing it again with all damaged and beat up coins.

My set is linked to my sig line.

  • Wow beautiful set Ankur and I love how you put the slab stickers on the reverse. I will definately take your advice to heart.

I just bought a new 7070 w/in the last few weeks from my local B&M coin shop. What bothers me the most are all the little cardboard fibers that stick to the plastic sheets that must be cleaned. I try to get them all out with a q-tip, but as soon as I slide the plastic and put the coins in, they keep coming back!! So even though I put a near perfect coin in the slot, it doesn't quite look as nice under the plastic... oh well, I would gladly pay more for an version of this album that didn't have this problem. Did a search on this problem and didn't seem to find much. Any tips on cleaning a new Dansco album before putting the coins in???

Anyway, have fun with the 7070, I've had a blast finding the "right" coins so far. I didn't buy the gold page. Not yet at least, I think I'm saving that until I'm done with the other pages.

I was able to buy a gold page & bi-centenial page for the 7070 from a local B&M for about a dollar...
  • That sounds pretty reasonable.

Are you fully aware of how much fun you're going to have assembling it your way?
    Congrats & enjoy!

Go to the BST and advertise what you are looking for image You'll be much happier and often times it's much better coin for the money. Almost always.

So far I have managed not to get this one yet. I did just get most of the 20th Dansco albums with proofs in the hopes of dumping most of my slabs.
