Great colors for both! Nice even toning on the proof and the '63 looks to be higher grade.

That type of toning on the proofs is an issue seen on a number of the sets from '62 and '63. Not sure what exactly causes it, but the toning is usually present on sets where the fused plastic that separate the coins from eachother has broken.

Usually it's pretty unattractive, but in this case it looks ok.

I agree, the toning is ok. Not great, but could be much worse.

It seems to me that the proof set was stored where it was hot. The plastic is textured different- I like the orange- It is attractive and looks real cool on the cent.

Just having fun... picking up coins wherever we can....
