Question for 1976 Topps BB Collectors

I received three graded PSA 9s that I had won on Ebay and noticed that the backs were a brownish color instead of the normal grey, the forground is green but the border and other areas are usually a grey color. These were a definate brown, sorry no scans for now, just wondering if this might be something that occured on these cards that I have never noticed. I have over 30+ in graded form, but have never seen this on the back. Could it have been from being left out a sunny area?? Any help appreciated!!

That was my first thought, too. Maybe a flub somewhere along the line to encapsulization.
