How many cards will be in the 2008 Topps set (series 1 and 2); and when will factory sets be release

I FINALLY was able to get my Topps set run up to 2006 thanks to part of my birthday money, and I plan on getting the 2007 factory set (the Red Sox version so my wife can have those five bonus BoSox prospect cards) as soon as I can find one for a good price. That being said, do we yet know how many cards will be in the 2008 Topps set (counting both series 1 and 2; I'm not interested in the Update set)? Also, when are the factory sets typically available?

    It should be the standard 660 cards like the past 2 years.I hope that helps.

    It seems to me they came out around August last year, as they were released a couple months before the Christmas box version....or was that 2006?
    Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards.
    Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.

    Series 1 came out on 02/08/08 at 330 cards not including all of the insert cards.

    According to SMCCI, the factory sets are going to be released in June, and I hope Topps will again make a Red Sox version.
