Currently PSA lists a (base) SMR value for 1968 topps baseball commons in psa 9 at $35. And of course the value of a particular psa 9 '68 common will be higher or lower than this base value depending on its population. PSA however doesn't at this time list a (base) value for '68 psa 10 commons. Of course the value of these psa 10's vary tremendously with each specific population but hypothetically if psa decided today to attribute a smr value to '68 topps baseball psa 10 commons what might it be? I'm guessing $100--any educated guesses? Many commons from this set have somewhat high pops in psa 10 so I'm trying to get a rough fix on the (retail) value of these '68 psa 10 commons with large pops.

And do you know who else is doing a pretty good job in that area? Beckett's new effort: Graded Card Investor. I was stunned as to how accurate they are and how they are truly into the pulse of graded card pricing!

The prices on PSA 10's of the 1968 Topps set are all over the board depending on population and who's looking to score on any given 10's that show up on eBay. Sometimes the population doesn't matter! If the #1 set holder needs the card there is usually a snipe bid that comes in and he wins the card. I was pleasantly surprised the other day when the expected snipe bid didn't come in and I actually scored a 1/1 for a relative bargain. If your interested in PSA 10 commons you'll find that you can pick up many of the very high populated 10's for under $100 most of the time. These are the cards with PSA 10 pop's of over 20. As the populations go down the prices go up just like most all other sets I'm sure. Once the populations of these 10's goes below 5 the cards usually sell for substantially more than the higher pop cards.
The other collectors/members have given sound advise... check with the sources given by SOM... I'm sure you'll find those most helpful.
