The obverse is a lamination error and the reverse looks like a struck thru error

Neat Bow Tie, not sure what the value would be as it circ, but LALASD4 is the resident Jeff 5c error specialist who will hopefully join in.

    What he said.
Must have had a bad batch of planchets running through the press, to have a prior coin delaminate and leave a fragment on the lower die, and then have this one delaminate at the throat. Nice dual error.

    1966 nickel

At first your 1966 looks like a Railroad type Partial or Tilted Collar Error, but I feel it's post mint damage as it has a valley and dips and the shoulder looks gouged?

I really like your coin. That's a big "Adam's Apple" that Jefferson is sporting.
If you are not into these type coins, I'd be interested in owning it. It's very cool.
  • Ya i was going to sale both of them + a couple off center struck coins 1970-d & 1999. Feel free to send me a pm im up for trade or sale i just need to make a lil money, if i did not need the money i would keep them 125% that is the first one i have ever seen like it & is very cool.

    Thanksimage

It is so so so... HARD to decide what to keep & what to sale if i could afford to keep all the coins i have i would im going to throw about 30-70 lots on ebay i hope today.

Your best bet would be EBay as they will bring whatever the market will bear? image

You'd have to check EBay for a price reference on both... as not to be the bearer of sour news a few bucks is all these will fetch.
Partial Collars on post War-Time Silver issues only fetch good money if on a Proof issue. As to the lamination/strike through it all depends on how neat someone will get their wallet excited about it?

Ebay prices had been very low for minor errors like these these last few months.
