........an ebay coupon in my 'My Ebay Messages'. I was under the assumption that email sent via the 'My Ebay Messages' system are safe, and actually sent from ebay. Can someone tell me if this is true? I have a very very valid reason for asking, which I will reveal after I get some answers (Russ, this is something I would trust your words perhaps more than anyones, as you seem to have the handle on ebay and paypal issues). I did have two problems with ebay, one for a decent amount of money, reported both a couple days ago, and today, I got a 'courtesy coupon'. Are these always valid, with no chance of being a scam? Thanx for your input. And remember, it was NOT in my personal email...it was in 'My Ebay Messages'. I did call the number they listed (I wont reveal that until I get some feedback, as 'those in the know' will be able to tell me whats what). I really appreciate any and all help I can get on this....I'll reveal why later, but after making the phone call, I am convinced its the real deal.....I asked the rep about 100 times if it was real, and she assured me. I just need to know if scammers can access that part of 'My Ebay'. Thank you in advance!
