Classic toner in hand. What do you think? :)

Here she is. Tricky trying to capture the actual tone which has a bluish sheen on the upper part of the obverse. What do you think? Am I in?
Edited: Okay, I can see a lack of humor so I'll skip it. Couple of years and I'll be in either way.

Either way, nice coin Griv.
I like many modern collectors would be more inclined to look at the classic coins if dealers and collectors didn't treat us like the idiots I'm sure we appear. No one cleans a modern eagle, actually few if any actually touch one. To do so is to doom that poor soul to "bullion".
I have had many say that so many billion Morgans were minted that based on where we are today that they are little more than bullion except, except. This MS66 doesn't seem like a melt coin but maybe just because of the toning but who in their right mind could actually melt or send coins to melt??? It's a little unnerving to buy these ancient coins when I can only grade 67 on up. These others look like scape. I would have graded this Morgan at MS64 based on my Sac/Pres grading so there is zero chance I would submit a regrade this one. The toning is nice but not even close to some of the member coins I've seen.
Am I crazy? Whoa, don't answer that. Let's talk about this coin, or any coin for that matter.
That is a great looking Morgan Dollar with modest yet attractive toning. Congrats!

Griv, that sentence had me in tears!
<< <i>Are you sure the slab insert didn't end in a 4, as maybe it's just me but that obverse has too much chatter to be a contender for that grade
I didn't grade it so I can't say. I'm absolutely sure it's not a 70 as most of my coins tend to be. I would also guess not a 67/68 as it seems like a little too much bloodshed on this one. MS66? I would probably say YES on this one. It would be nice to hear why this is NOT a 66, or whatever. Anyone for 67????

Do you want me to lie???
Maybe etexmike would be kind enough to post a 800dpi sized image of one of his MS66 Morgan's... as then you could see the day and night difference.

You are trying to make me cry, aren't you???
No... just helping you grade below 67, with the aid of pics

As far as the comments on the 66 grade I can see where they are coming from but it still looks better than a 65.
That 66 sure makes mine look more like a 65 but maybe it's because your 66 should be a 67.
