Is this gold sovereign a Counterfeit???

I have been looking for a proof Victoria sovereign for a looooonnnggg time. Does anyone know if this coin is legit or some special reproduction coin.

AFAIK, those are struck by an independent mint recently. They are more of fantasy coins. They are not an issue of the BRM (British Royal Mint).

Thank you for the info. I sure am glad I waited and asked this crowd first. If I had gone ahead and bought it I would probably be pretty sad when I found out it was a fake.
