It has been a little while since we have had a YN giveaway so I think I will have one, maybe a couple in the next several weeks. You may enter on behalf of your YN if you would like. I will put your names into a hat and have my YN pick the name.

This particular one is for a total of 18 Liberty Nickels in Good Condition. All coins are raw and in 2x2's. One winner.

Please simply tell me what your favorite coin is and why you like it. I want exact dates and mintmarks.

I'll enter my son's name and what his favorite coin is...

He likes the silver Roosies. Reason is that he finds them cool, shiny, and they tone really nicely. He has also made a very good friend on this site through the Roosies and to him, having a "coin penpal" has been pretty dang cool. He has liked all the coins so far, but really likes toned Roosies. He is 6 so it is cool seeing him enjoy them as well as the video games/tv/etc. A nice hobby we can enjoy together.

Assuming you mean a coin that is in one's collection, in my case its a tie between the 1829 Bust Half Dime or 1837 Seated Dime.
Don't need to put me into the drawing the grandson is only two months old and his only interest in coins is tasting them.

After going through my collection of coins her favorites are the half-dimes.
She's on the small side (don't let her know I said that!) and the design is "pretty cool", that's why it beats out the 3c silver.
Unfortunately she usually gets my dupes, so she probably won't be getting one of her own until she starts working!

I collect Peace Dollars, but you want a specific date and MM so.
My favorite coin is the 1964 D Peace dollar.
I like it because it’s big, it's round, and it’s silver.
Also the mystery around it, do any exist, if so where are they?
