Question - were you expecting an MS grade on this one?

I'm theorizing that there is currently a "zero tolerance" policy for "cabinet friction" that not too long ago would have been overlooked.

It's worth $18.52 as melt value tells the story today. I never could understand people paying $1,200 for a coin like that, hell I can buy a condo on the golf course in Ft Lauderdale Fla right now for that price. Geeezee!!

  • The 1883 nickel I bought about 24 years ago and thought is was BU condition. I thing the coin must have been damaged from moving around all these years, not to mention I dropped on the floor the day I shipped it to PCGS, decided to send it anyway.
