Paid on the 7th and still no items. Should I be worried yet?

These were not cards, but Mitchell & Ness jerseys. I paid on the 7th and the guy is on the west coast and I am on the east coast. It is a massive powerseller and I won multiple items so I hoping they are just lazy and have taken their time in packaging everything together. He said everything is shipped Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation. I just emailed him and said I have not received the items and I also opened a paypal dispute, but did not escalate to a claim. I hope these items show up as it was a $250+ order.

Everybody has their own patience threshold.

Mine is about 30-days; before I even contact the seller.

The PP dispute seems like a gun-jumper, after less than
    10 business days.

The guy emailed me back in about 20 minutes with the tracking number. Says they left notice on the 13th and that it is at my post office. Problem is that they did not leave a notice. I am about to go complain and try to get my package. If our resident mailman Jim is reading this, please tell me if there is anything else I can do as my mailman pulls this stuff far to often.

I suspect that is pretty rare.

What is VERY common is: The carrier tucks the notice in
the middle of a pile of letters and it is never seen by the
    customer.

My carrier rubber-bands the pile and puts ALL notices on
the top, right under the rubber-band.

When you go there to pick it up ask for a postmaster or station manager. Talk to them, tell them this happens to you a lot and from now on you would like your carrier to put the 3849 notice on top of your letter mail, with a rubber band holding it together. Somehow the slips he must be leaving are getting lost or something. Also request that the carrier write the sender's name on the slip when he leaves it for you.

Explain nicely that you don't have this problem with fedex or ups.

Also check the tracking number and see if it's scanned attempted at the time he would normally be at your house or if he's scanning at the office. He's not allowed to scan at the office. They're supposed to scan attempted when they actually attempt.

If that doesn't work PM me and I'll tell you how to make the carrier miserable.

Happens to me at least twice a week with the same customer. I just check her shelf on Saturdays and deliver everything left over.
