2008 Presidential coins in Reg Sets

Can the 2008 Presidential coins be added to registry sets and count? I know in the past current year coins could be added but didn't count.

Michelle,
As you probably already know, the 2008 Presidential coins can be added to the Set Registries as soon as you get them slabbed by PCGS. They WILL count in the Set Registry effective January, 2009. This "rule" applies to ALL Set Registry coins and has been effective since at least 2001. Hope this answers your question.
