Allen & Ginter 2006 and 2007 Autographs

Thinking of starting on this set (of the certified autos) as I see them a lot on ebay and think they are just beautiful cards with a great player range. Before I start, I have a few questons I hopes you guys could help me with.

1. Are there any differences in the design of 2006 and 2007 (i think it looks like a slightly different colour on the border but that is all i can see)
2. Are the little autographed cards placed between plastic holding them in place inside the borders or how does that work? If it is plastic is it easly scratched up?
3. How big is the checklist per year?
4. Does anyone have doubles that could help me get started?

OK. I have compiled a checklist for both years and have 105 total for both (that includes a tbd for 2007 though I do not know who it was).

Anyone know who the TBD was in 2007?

This might be a good place to start. If you post your request here, it will bring the thread to the top and give a lot of the collectors a chance to see and respond. There was quite a bit of activity this year.

I have only two things in mass in my private collection. One of them is heritage real one and the other are A&G autos! The 06 list was
an amazing list, and I think the 07 was too. Topps screwed up and used the open GU holders for the autos in 07, so you can actually
touch the ink on the 07's. The 06's are behind the plastic, I have not had a hint of trouble with either year, of course I am careful with
my cards.

It is interesting to note that the SP's in 06 sell for crazy amounts if you can even find them. This will especially pick up with 08 A&G comes
out, so this might be a good time to pick them up. I do have some doubles if you are interested.
