...of each player, which one would it be (based on visual appeal)?

Banks - 1954 Topps (gorgeous head shot against that dazzling white background)
Bench - 1969 Topps AS (tough call over his 76T card, but the color headshot against the b&w background is stunning
Brock - ?
Carew - 1976 Topps
Carlton - 1967 Topps
Clemente - 1961 Topps (the slightly yellow color tone of this photo is really unique)
Drysdale - ?
Gibson - 1961 Topps (just barely over his 65T & 67T cards)
R.Jackson - 1971 Topps (the contrast of the green & gold of his A's uniform with the black borders works well)
Killebrew - ?
Koufax - 1956 Topps
Mantle - 1958 Topps (great head shot against that stunning orange background)
Marichal - ?
Mathews - 1954 Topps (love that baby blue)

J.Robinson - 1956 Topps
F.Robinson - 1958 Topps AS (gorgeous color contrast with the red & white of his Reds uniform against the blue background)
B.Robinson - 1957 Topps (just a terrific photo, although I also love his 76T card)
Rose - 1967 Topps (in a close race against his 65T, 69T AS, and 76T cards)

I'm sensing a man crush
Aaron - 1955 T, love the old school Braves logo & that yellow background.
Banks - 1958 T, from his first MVP saeson, a young Banks headshot over a bright yellow background.
Bench - 1969 Topps AS (tough call over his 76T card, but the color headshot against the b&w background is stunning - I agree
Brock - I'll go with the '65
Carew - I'll go with his rookie card even though he shares it with someone else. I love those yellow backgrounds!
Carlton - 1967 Topps I agree
Clemente - He has a lot of attractive cards, the '71 & his rookie are close, but for my money I'll take the '56. Love the catch he's
making and the signs on the walls.
Drysdale - His rookie
Gibson - 1960 T
R.Jackson - he also has a lot of nice ones, like the '80 & '72, but for me you can't beat his '78 card. Reggie in pinstripes in that classic follow through.
Killebrew - ? I dunno either
Koufax - 1956 Topps I agree but I also like his'64
Mantle - 1956 What a smile! And how 'bout that catch he's making?
Marichal - 1964 T
Mathews - 1952 T I really like the greenish hue in the background, and of course the design on the '52s is timeless.
Mays - 1954 Did someone say yellow background?
McCovey - dunno
Morgan - dunno
J.Robinson - 1956 Topps I agree
F.Robinson - 1959 T I really like the '59s w the black backgrounds, plus it's a cool shot of Frank.
B.Robinson - 1967 Really great design, like the faux auto as well
Rose - 1967 Topps (in a close race against his 65T, 69T AS, and 76T cards) I agree, I also like his '82T
Ryan - 1973 T I wonder what batters thought in '73 when he went into this wind-up.
Seaver - 1968 T I like the head shot, plus the cool rookie trophy.
Stargell - 1956 T a cool design + an awesome shot = a great card
Spahn - 1956 Topps this is one of the most attractive cards in one of Topps most attractive sets
Yazstremski - 1967 again helped by the great '67 design
B.Williams - 1973 T
T. Williams - 1954 T the headshot against what else? That's right, a yellow background. I do like his other card in this set as well.
What a coincidence. I recently went through a similar exercise with most of the HOF'ers, so I have picks readily availble for most of these...
Aaron - This one's a tough call. I would go with the '57 Topps if it weren't for the backward negative.

Carew - 1976 Topps
Carlton - 1974 Topps
Clemente - 1957 Topps
Drysdale - 1957 Topps
Gibson - 1967 Topps

Koufax - 1965 Topps
Mantle - 1953 Bowman
Marichal - 1974 Topps
Mathews - 1953 Bowman
Mays - 1957 Topps

J.Robinson - 1952 Topps
F.Robinson - stumped
B.Robinson - 1957 Topps
Rose - 1976 Topps
Ryan - 1969 Topps

Stargell - 1967 Topps
Spahn - 1952 Bowman
Yazstremski - 1966 Topps
B.Williams - 1966 Topps
T. Williams - I agree this a tough choice. I'm going with 1957 Topps.
