New Darkside section in the Red Book

The 62nd edition of the Guide Book of United States Coins (the "Red Book") has a new section on Puerto Rican coins.

PR collectors, please take a look and let me know what you think.

Thanks!

Makes sense. Even though PR coins were struck under Spanish authority, it's now a US territory, after all. The Redbook lists the Hawaiian royal issues, why not the PR stuff?

Of course, the slope gets slippery when you start to consider all the Spanish coinage for the Philippines and so on.

Same here. I would agree that adding any possible coins minted after they became a U.S. territory makes perfect sense, but anything before that ... Well ... I think it's similar to adding Spain and Mexico to the RedBook because not 200 years ago a large part of what now U.S.A. still belonged to them (Florida, California, Texas, Arizona)
