Any reason why PSA doesn't put (HOF) next to Tommy McDonald's name?

Is this just a mistake? If so, how common is it?

the same reason they list Lee Roy Jordan's rookie correctly in 67 Philly, but list him as HOF in the 68 and 69 topps sets, which he is not, or how Ted Hendricks is correctly listed in HOF in his rookie year and his name misspelled as Henddricks in the 73 set with no HOF next to his name. Or how Mel Blount is correctly listed as a rookie card and HOF in the 75 set, but not a HOF next to his name in the 76 set. Just all a bunch of clerical errors, that are updated as frequently as many of these set and single prices.

It's the same reason they list Pepper Martin as a HOF in the Diamond Stars set.
