Its good to clean out your closet every once in a while....

So I am cleaning out my closet trying to get a little organized... In the back I see a "fanny pack" that I used to use at shows when I was 16ish..

I feel its empty and go to throw it out but check the inside pockets anyway and on the inside hidden pocket I find these...lol

They were in top loaders...

Nice!! I found 3 Aaron cards myself last week, however I lost/misplaced a Leaf Rizzuto rookie.

    Good job on your find.

Yeah, it was really surprising. It wasnt one of those where you know you have them somewhere you just dont remember where.

It was complete surpise. Not a big $$ amount but definitley very cool to find 2 clean rookies of my favorite player.
  • I think the real issue here is that you had a fanny pack and are willing to admit it.

Congratulations on bringing it out of the closet, so to speak.

Awesome! The best I've done is finding a $20.00 flipping through some old books.

    Wow - that's pretty cool!

Odd to see Arod in the Mariners uni now.

I'm doing the same but one thing is crystal clear - I have more "crap" than I thought and I think I spent way too much money over the years!

I'm surprised my wife hasn't kicked my ass by now.

Fanny pack? You might wanna check your pocket protector or the pockets of your Chino's for more cards. Dork.
  • Nice! Now hope they come back 0's or even 9's too image Big Bucks!!!!!

Come to think about it, I haven't been able to find my 2 1910 Obak T212's image Been looking and looking, can't seem to find them anywhere.

  • Nice find. It's always nice to come across something you had forgotten about (well maybe not always, I'm sure there are some things better left lost). I just found a 1960 Musial and Gibson that I had completely forgotten I had.
  • Speaking of lost items found.... Today they were cleaning out the shipping dept. at work and found a package I never sent off. From Aug 2007. Seller claimed he got half the cards so I refunded him half the price. Now I know he was LYING !! I have them all here. Uh, some people. lol I'll email him and refund the rest or send the cards out.

I remember when I moved into my new house and was unloading some books. A 1965 Aaron fell out of one of the books that my brother used to own....he was using the Aaron as a bookmark.....eventually sent the card in to PSA and it came back a 6 and has since been sold....why couldn't he have put a pack fresh Aaron in the book insteadimage

I have a bookshelf next to my computer that holds just random junk cards I've either tried or intend to try getting rid of on ebay. This winter, while going through the stacks for the first time in a year, I found a 2005 BDP Clay Buchholz White parallel #/120. While it's still a few bucks (one sold for $31 recently), it would've probably been snapped up in a second with a $100+ BIN if I had listed it the night he threw his no-hitter. I instantly unloaded all my other Buchholzes that night, wish I'd sorted those stacks out sooner.

Rare Grady Sizemore parallels, printing plates, autographs
