So, I get in this morning and this eMail is in my box regarding one of the pricier coins I sold yesterday. Interesting thing is that this is a buyer who has bought many pricey coins from me.

    I am wondering when I will get one since I do not use Paypal shipping but I do send most of my items registered mail fully insured with return receipt by email which requires a signature that I can retrieve by PDF.

    This type of notice has nothing to do with shipping method. It arrived well before any processing. Besides, it's one that can't be shipped using PayPal shipping because it exceeds the maximum allowed value.

    Russ, I've figured out that I can use paypal shipping for registered mail and get a nice barcoded label. My local PO then credits me for the postage. I lose the .18 for delivery confirmation but think the printed label on a high value package is worth it. --Jerry

    I got one like that last monday Russ. It took four days to iron out, but I was cleared to ship Friday. Yours was done in 19 minutes. I hope mine works out that fast next time! image

    Just because the e-mails arrived 19 minutes apart doesn't mean the processing only took 19 minutes. This is eBay/PayPal we're talking about. I routinely get "fee sale" e-mails the day they expire, and a couple times, the day after. It's just a matter of time before you get the "CLEAR TO SHIP" e-mail before the corresponding "DO NOT SHIP" e-mail.

    In this case, it does. The buyer's PayPal payment was made 11 seconds before the payment review eMail was generated.

    You cannot insure a package for more than $500 when using paypal shipping.

    I never used paypal shipping so really don't know the particulars.
