I believe he is suffering from having no lawns to mow and no football to watch. Tonya is likely walking on egg shells right now, poor girl.
Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards.
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.

I think Matt - like myself - takes breaks from the boards from time to time.

I believe - and I speak for Matt also - that we would look a bit histrionic if we were to announce it every time.

I do PM a few who I speak to on a regular basis just so they don't think I died!

    I hate the flu.

Last time I had it was 1973 and I lived in the bathroom for 4 days!

Matt - are you there? If you got the flu - get well buddy!!!!

I just got over it. First time since high school (late '80's) that it hit me. I spent two days in the head, and just rejoined the living on Friday.

Sounds like you're about due, Mike. If you want to get reacquainted with it I've got a four year old that I can lease to you for a couple days. He's guaranteed to deliver the goods.

I had the flu a couple of weeks ago.

    Not good times.

Still have a lingering cough but I'm positive the smoke has nothing to do with it.

    Get well soon, Matt image

I've been doing newsgroups, chat rooms, and forums for almost 17 years now, and the NUMBER ONE compliment anyone can pay someone is to ask about them when they haven't been on in a while.

So what ever happened to Zardoz and crazysc, anyway?
  • Yes we had the flu. I think I picked it up from the gym I just joined, I knew working out was a bad idea!

This has been the sickest we have ever been, both of us plus all four kids. Everyone is pretty much over it now, but I still have a lingering cough like stown and Matt is still feeling drug down after working in the sun all day.

While on his deathbed he stayed off the computer alot so he has since lost momentum in PSA and Ebay. I'm sure he'll pick it back up, but for right now he's "taking a break" I guess.

I wish you guys the best Tonya - I don't get sick very often - as I said 1973 on the flu and it was 7 yrs ago since my last cold. So, as Boo says - I'm due!!!!

    Say hey to Matt.

I think he may have gotten a John Deere letter.
That's when your lawnmower leaves you.

I have found power in the mysteries of thought.

It is always a question of knowing and seeing, and not that of believing.

Our virtues, and our failings are inseparable, like force, and matter. When they separate, man is no more.

It's the 992 posts in 2 months that display the excess amount of time on his hands....

That's only 15-16 posts per day. No problem.
