$199 to ship a card?

OK, not technically, but I asked him about it and he actually told me he was circumventing eBay's fees.

They even go so far as to clearly state the shipping is to offset the eBay fees... look quick, the auctions won't last long.

I know its against ebay rules, but I dont see why a buyer would have a problem with this.

Ebay sticks it to us on so many different issues, just incorporate the shipping into your price.

Whats the different if its $199 for the card and free shipping or .99 and $198.99 for shipping.

The difference is simply if a seller can't play by the rules what makes you think he will
if you have a problem? I can see it now, you return the card you just paid 200.00 for
    and he returns your .99.

I see that as a rather large difference.

    Good for you.
  • Steve is right if the seller could care less about following Ebay rules what is going to happen if you have a problem its obvious he does not care.
  • He received a neutral from a buyer who warned buyers beware make sure you get what you pay for. What a red flag.

That has been a VERY common practice of the sellers registered in China.
