Superstars need not apply...

We all know what a generous group of collectors inhabit these boards and I thought it might be fun and fruitful to create a thread along the lines of one collector's trash is another collector's treasure.

The idea is simple... if you collect virtually anything that others probably consider "trash" then post here and perhaps more people can benefit from the generosity of this community.

I know that I personally have numerous rookies, both raw and graded, from prospects that never lived up to their hype that I would be more than happy to part with at no charge if they would help some of you out with your collections. I know I am not alone on this, so let the posts begin!

  • I think my Phil Garner collection would fit under your terms.
  • Great idea, another non card forum I frequent has the same thing and the way it is set up is if you see something you want you have to add a card/s to the thread, helps to keep it going. Didn't mean to hijack, just a thought. Now I've got to do some digging for stuff to put up.

Great idea. I have a very nice Todd Linden collection of cards, autographed balls, bats and game worn jersey. Follow this LINK to see the cards...

Todd Linden was drafted by the Giants and is currently in the Oakland A's spring camp.
