EXCEPTIONAL COLLECTION: PCGS PROOF MODERN QUARTERS

Hi everyone. I have the following PCGS Proof Modern Quarter Set available for sale. I would like to sell the set in tact, but will consider by the piece sales. First, if anyone out there has an interest in acquiring the collection as a unit, please let me know via PM. Second, if anyone out there has an interest in any one or more of the individual coins, please PM me and if the set does not sell as a complete set in the next week or two, I may be able to price out the individual coins you ask me about.

The coins, overall, are of exceptional quality (details will be provided to serious interested parties). Wondercoin.

Are all the 70's true 70's?

You know I had to ask image

DBLDIE55: Actually, a very fair question. What I have done with my sale of sets like this is to personally assess each and every PR70 coin in the set and identify for a buyer any coins of exceptional quality in my opinion (e.g. intensively deep cameo contrast) and any coins I find a fault with using a 10x. Now, understand, neither PCGS nor NGC use a 10x in their definition of "perfect". So, I am simply using a higher standard than that required by the grading company. The coins that prove "perfect" at 10x I call "solid" PR70 grade and will be marketed as such. Lesser quality coins will be detailed and anything "egregious" will generally be presented to PCGS for review to remove from the holder and downgrade. I understand that if I find a fault at 10x, that doesn't mean the coin isn't PR70DCAM. I am using the wrong standard and I am stating that clearly here. My use of double the power though simply easily identifying the "solid PR70 grade" coins (the coins the most serious collectors would want).

I will not report my detailed analysis here, especially because I am not using the proper standard and, imho, it would be unfairly prejudicial to a grading company to have someone critique their coins using the wrong standard. Again, it is just a personal standard I am using in selling collections such as ths one. Hope this helps image Wondercoin.
